Middle America, here we come.  After driving 8 hours along the Oregon Trail, we arrived in Boise.  The city feels like an oversized suburb centered around Boise State University, which, to Annie’s surprise, has a blue football field.

This place is really special.  Colorful lanterns line the streets and we lucked out by visiting during their monthly Full Moon Festival, which will definitely be on our shortlist of travel favorites.

Cambodia is still struggling to rehabilitate from a very painful past.  Beginning in 1975, the Cambodian Genocide led to the death of 25% of Cambodia's population in the span of basically 4 years.  We didn't know enough about this and we still don't.

We got our butts kicked with a full week of daily Muay Thai Training at a local gym in Bangkok.  Our trainers didn't speak English, were in ridiculous shape, and had plenty of fun laughing at and with us!
